Charter School Facility Revolving Loan Fund

About the Program

The establishment and maintenance of the State Treasurer's Office Charter School Facility Revolving Loan Program is authorized through Section 59-40-175, SC Code of Laws.

As noted, the State Treasurer's Office Charter School Facility Revolving Loan Program was established to provide low-interest loans to new charter schools to help meet purposes established in the school's charters. The State Treasurer's Office Charter School Facility Revolving Loan Program serves South Carolina’s public charter schools by providing startup and initial funds to construct, purchase, renovate and maintain public charter school facilities in order to assist schools in establishing high quality, high performing charter school operations for South Carolina’s students and their families.
