You can stop by the Future Scholar 529 College Savings Program area before you watch the Clemson Tigers take on Syracuse. The area will have information about how to open a tax-advantaged college savings plan for a child or grandchild. Future Scholar, administered by the State Treasurer’s Office, is South Carolina’s smart and easy way to save for college.

“I am proud that my office has delivered one of the nation’s highest rated college savings plans and made it easy for parents and grandparents to save for a child’s college education,” said Treasurer Loftis.  There’s no minimum amount required to open a Future Scholar account and anyone can contribute to a child’s college savings,” Treasurer Loftis added.

Staff will on hand to answer your questions behind the left Field of Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Saturday November 5, 2016.

Kickoff is around 3:30pm, but you can stop by and see the Future Scholar display when you head to watch the Tiger Tailgate Show starting at 12:30pm.
