More than $2M in Unclaimed Property Returned in January

Columbia, SC - In January 2017, State Treasurer Curtis Loftis and the Unclaimed Property Program returned about $2.5 million in unclaimed property.

"It's great to see money already being returned to the proper owners. The Unclaimed Property Program is off to a strong start in 2017," said Treasurer Loftis. "People have money and don't even know about it. That's why it's so important to check your name, and the names of your friends and family. Find out if you have money waiting for you."
