Treasurer Loftis questions DOT Secretary during Nov. 3 Budget & Control meeting

South Carolina State Treasurer Curtis Loftis led questioning into financial mismanagement, accounting and lack of transparency at the SC Department of Transportation during a Nov. 3 SC Budget and Control Board Meeting. The Treasurer has led efforts to uncover why the agency needed to rely on a $52 million dollar federal bailout and why contractors were not paid on time.
