Treasurer's Office Divisions: Debt Management

State Treasurer Curtis Loftis wants the South Carolina taxpayer to know what each division does in the State Treasurer's Office.

The Debt Management Division is responsible for managing the debt for the State, its agencies, institutions and authorities, optimizing the debt structure and ensuring timely repayment of debt when it is due.

"Each division is vital to the role the Treasurer's Office has in state government," said Treasurer Loftis. "The Debt Management Division is made up of people who do a great job every day."
