Statement from State Treasurer Curtis Loftis on the ACFR:

"The State Treasurer’s Office (STO) is unaffected by the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) reporting issue at the Comptroller General’s (CG) Office. The STO year-end account balances remain unchanged. The STO accounts are reconciled daily to the bank and are subject to internal, external and financial partner audit and scrutiny.

Responsibility for the preparation and accuracy of the ACFR resides solely in the CG’s office. I have made my staff available to the CG’s Office as needed and am pleased to continue to assist."
