State Treasurer Curtis Loftis Helps Return Over Half Million Dollars in Unclaimed Property in Hartsville

Hartsville native and mayoral candidate Justin Evans is joined by State Treasurer Curtis Loftis Tuesday to help return missing funds to two local Hartsville citizens.

State Treasurer Curtis Loftis recently teamed up with Hartsville mayoral candidate Justin Evans to return more than $500,000 in unclaimed property to two Hartsville residents.

“I was able to provide a list of unclaimed property we have at the State Treasurer’s Office for people and businesses in the Hartsville community to Justin, and he successfully helped us find two individuals who were owed significant funds,” said Treasurer Loftis. “We appreciate his help in locating these individuals, and we encourage everyone to search our database at treasurer.sc.gov to look up their names to see if we have funds waiting for them.”
