Kristin Buchman

Director of Communications

Kristin Buchman is the Director of Communications for the State Treasurer’s Office, where she leads the agency’s communications strategy, including media relations, digital content, and public engagement efforts.

Kristin began her career at the State Treasurer's Office in 2018. She brings extensive experience in digital communications and content development. She works closely with internal divisions and external partners to support key initiatives and enhance transparency for the citizens of South Carolina.

Kristin is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in broadcast journalism. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, photography, playing with her two daughters and cheering on the Gamecock Women's Soccer Team.
