Karen Ingram

Karen Ingram joined the State Treasurer’s Office in 2018 as the Director of Communications.

Karen has worked in the marketing and public relations field for more than 30 years, with experience in both the public and private sectors. She most recently served as the Director of Communications and Economic Development for the Town of Chapin, S.C. She also worked for the S.C. Department of Commerce during the Sanford administration as part of the executive staff as a communications manager.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Karen holds degrees in business administration and mass communications. She has served on a number of professional, civic and charitable boards during her career.
