Leann S. Miller

Director of Banking Division

Leann S. Miller joined the State Treasurer’s Office in March 2016. She currently serves as Director of the Banking Division.

The Division coordinates and provides banking services for state agencies, colleges and universities to respond to their needs in selecting and implementing appropriate banking solutions, as well as ensure they have adequate collateral to secure state funds. The Banking Division also maintains the accounting for the state investments and Local Government Investment Pool.

Leann is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and has served the State of South Carolina for 29 years in various managerial finance and accounting roles at South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs and the State Treasurer’s Office.

She lives in West Columbia, S.C. with her husband and enjoys reading, going to Lake Wateree and visiting her two children and grandson.
